Originally built for a sculptor and recently enlivened by a photographer, Leonard House is a mid-century California masterpiece that was in need of some new-century upgrades. Employing naturally-rusting, recycled steel, the New California Craftsmen created gates, a mailbox, and a planter.

The Bent Wood Pendant is a non-contracted project for which NCAC has total creative freedom. In order to create naturally unique, organic compositions, each panel of Bird's Eye Maple is bent and cut differently. Directed by their innate forms, the panels are fit together while the aluminum rods supply tension to bind the pendant.

The Chessé family wanted to bring their mid-century rancher in the Elysian Park neighborhood of Los Angeles into the 21st Century while remaining true to the home's classic character. Blending seamlessly with existing architectural features, the New California Craftsmen updated sliding closet doors, refaced storage built-ins, and transformed a sunken office space with a custom-embroidered leather bench.
